A coin-sized scoop on damp skin, worked in circles towards the heart. Rinse without soap so the butters whipped into it stay where they landed. Twice a week, never daily. If you shaved that morning, wait a day.
Saccharum officinarum (cane sugar), Butyrospermum parkii (unrefined shea), Prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond oil), Cocos nucifera, Maranta arundinacea (arrowroot), Tocopherol, natural vanilla. Nothing else.
Dry to very dry skin, and anyone with rough patches on elbows, knees or shins. The grain is round rather than sharp, so it suits sensitive skin better than a salt scrub. Avoid on broken or sunburnt skin.
Dispatched within two working days of confirming your order, wrapped in paper. In warm months we pack with an insulating sleeve so the whip does not collapse in transit.
Whipped, not packed. Most scrubs are sugar suspended in oil and sold by weight, which is why they arrive dense and separate in the jar. Whipping beats air through the butter first, so the same amount of sugar covers more skin and needs less pressure to work.
It also means the jar is lighter than it looks. That is the whip, not a short fill.
